HOW BLUEPRINT DETECTIVE WORKS
Practice reading the information before doing the work.
Each run moves through Apprentice, Journeyman, and Foreman clues in that order. Every correct answer advances you; one wrong answer ends the run. The correct answer always comes from the information shown on that clue, so the goal is to find the controlling note, tag, legend, schedule, dimension, or reference instead of relying on assumptions.
Start with the clue
Early rounds focus on direct references such as detail bubbles, wall tags, ceiling tags, door marks, and keyed notes.
Then apply the drawing
Harder rounds combine a stated finish buildup with a finished-face or grid-line dimension and ask where the framing actually belongs.
