Walls use linear feet x height. Ceilings use entered square footage or length x width. BidSimp multiplies by the selected layers, applies your waste percentage, and rounds sheet quantities up. Wall openings and ceiling cutouts are not deducted yet.

BidSimp calculates drywall board quantities for multiple wall types and ceiling areas in one takeoff. Wall types use linear feet and height; ceiling areas can use total square footage or length × width.
Choose the board you are carrying
Set layers independently, then choose board type, thickness, sheet size and waste. Current thickness options include 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" board, with 5/8" as the default.
Supplier-ready summary
Matching board selections are combined across walls and ceilings so the material summary gives you one consolidated sheet quantity for each matching board type, thickness and sheet size.
