One light can make an entire room feel finished for the day.
This thing gets tall, gets bright, and throws enough usable light around a room that I can forget the whole space is being lit by one stand.

WHY IT MADE THE LIST
Why this light stayed in my rotation.
I use this light for exactly what a jobsite light should do: light up a room and give me more usable light wherever the work is happening. What makes it stand out to me is how much area one stand can cover.
The pole gets tall enough that I can bring the light from above, keep it lower, or put it wherever the shadows make the most sense. Once it is set up, the room can feel normally lit instead of like I am working around one portable light.

What I actually use it for.
I use it to light rooms, work areas, and spaces where the permanent lighting is not ready or just is not enough. It is especially useful when I want one portable source instead of dragging several smaller lights around.
The height is a big part of why it works for me. Getting the light source up above the work changes the room completely and makes it much easier to forget the light is coming from one stand.
Why I like it.
It is bright, quick to place, and easy to move. I like having the option to put the head high or low instead of being stuck with light blasting from floor level.
I have used this exact light for about five to six years, and it has become one of those tools that does its job so well that I notice it most when I turn it off.
THE HONEST PART
What I do not like.
The biggest annoyance is battery life on the brightest setting. If I run it wide open, it can chew through a battery faster than I want. On the lower settings it lasts much longer.
And somehow it always seems to run out right when I am in the middle of something. That is not enough to make me stop using it, but it is the tradeoff I think about when I choose the brightness setting.
MY VERDICT
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely. I like having one tall, powerful light that can take over a room without a complicated setup. If I know I am going to run it hard, I just plan around the battery instead of pretending the highest setting is free.
