BIDSIMP ARCADE · DRYWALL DROP

It's raining drywall.

HOW TO PLAY

Rock the wall. Left to right.

← → Move the falling board ROTATE Flip ripped and door-cut pieces +1 Correct piece   −5 Mistake 3 HARD HATS Three mistakes ends the run

Tall-wall rounds stagger the horizontal end joints, and some falling pieces can have more than one correct landing spot. Door rounds keep joints away from opening corners.

Keyboard: Left / Right arrows to move. Up arrow, R, or Space to rotate. No drop button. Gravity does the work.

Factory / tapered edgeKeep field joints friendly when the piece gives you a choice.
Cut edgeRipped starter/end pieces put the cut edge at the perimeter.
Staggered end jointsTall-wall patterns alternate the horizontal butt-joint height.

Arcade training aid: Drywall Drop uses simplified, preplanned wall layouts to practice visual board placement, opening-joint awareness, and staggered end joints. Tall-wall rounds intentionally limit the available pieces to 8' and 4' stock so the stagger becomes part of the game. Actual panel orientation, board lengths, joint locations, fastening, rated-assembly requirements, framing direction, tolerances, and installation sequence must follow the project drawings, specifications, tested assembly, manufacturer instructions, and field conditions. The game always advances left to right for consistent play; that is not a universal installation requirement. Terms & Disclaimer

DRYWALL HANGING PRACTICE

A construction layout game disguised as falling blocks.

Drywall Drop keeps the boards standing vertically and uses visible steel framing behind the wall. Easy rounds use full-height sheets. Other rounds introduce ripped perimeter pieces, door cutouts, and tall-wall stacks where the horizontal end joints alternate instead of lining up across the wall.

Read the piece

A full sheet can go either way. Ripped pieces and door cuts use their shape and edge treatment to show orientation, so rotate them before they land when the cut is facing the wrong direction.

Read the wall

Board edges land on framing, door-opening joints stay away from the corners, and the wall progresses from left toward right. On tall walls, more than one next landing can be correct when the stagger still works.
