BIDSIMP INTERACTIVE LESSON
Lay out a 2' × 2' ceiling, one step at a time.
You do the math. BidSimp walks you through one room direction at a time using a different dimension and center condition each run, with hints when you need them.
HOW IT WORKS
Learn the process, not one memorized room.
Every guided room follows the same method. There is no timer, no score, and no game over. Get a step wrong and you will get a hint instead.
1Find the full-tile dimensionUse the largest 2' increment that fits inside the room.
2Find the leftover and border cutSubtract, then divide the leftover equally between both walls.
3Find the center conditionFull-tile dimension ÷ 2' = tile count. Then check odd or even.
4Match the plan requirementIf needed, shift the 2' grid pattern 12". This is the same as using one fewer full tile and adding 12" to each border.
Learning aid: This interactive lesson practices basic 2' × 2' ceiling-layout math. Final project layout is controlled by the project RCP, specifications, fixture coordination, selected suspension system, manufacturer instructions, field conditions, and applicable requirements. Terms & Disclaimer
